FALCONRY BIRD SCARING SERVICES
Our falconry bird scaring services are deployed in settings where bird proofing solutions would be ineffective or unsuitable and are an enormously effective way to combat nuisance bird problems.
Able to disturb even the most stubborn nuisance birds, our falconry bird scaring services utilise birds of prey to unsettle pest birds and move them away from the premises they’ve claimed as their perching spot.
As experienced and licensed providers of bird control services, you can rest assured that our technicians deploy falconry bird scaring services in a humane way, ensuring pest birds are deterred yet unharmed.
WHY CHOSE KEY WEST FALCONRY BIRD SCARING SERVICES?
Deterring roosting, nesting, feeding, and colonising pigeons, seagulls and other nuisance birds, our falconry bird scaring services are 100% tailored to you, your premises, and the specific problem you’re experiencing.
All our pest control technicians are fully trained and experienced falconers, with an extensive knowledge and understanding of pest birds, therefore having maximum impact when deploying falconry bird scaring services. The birds we fly are captive bred in the UK, and each have current and relevant DEFRA paperwork to abide with current UK laws.
Equipped and highly skilled in the deployment of the additional solutions occasionally required in conjunction with falconry bird scaring services, such as kite flying and bio acoustic measures, whatever the size and scale of your bird problem, our specialists have a highly-effective and affordable solution.
Thanks to or recent partnership with South Cave Falconry, we can now offer commercial falconry bird scaring services to a much wider customer base. So whatever your business, wherever you are, if your commercial property has fallen prey to nuisance birds, think Key West.
- The Harris Hawk, native to South America, are designed to fly in close country, therefore adapting well to built up areas such as factory units, etc. They are a very sociable bird living in family packs in the wild, and this sociable nature transfers in captivity.
- Saker Falcons are native to Russia and Central Europe, and are larger than a native peregrine. They are hand reared from a few days old, by which time we have them working on commercial business sites. By having the baby birds on busy working sites, and in-front of members of the public, they become completely relaxed and happy in the working site environment, and will continue to as they get older and more familiar with their work.
- Birds of prey are used as a deterrent, they do not catch any of the nuisance birds. The birds have to be flown regularly over the site, which instils into the pest bird that this is a falcons/hawks territory, and therefore not a safe place to roost, colonise.
“The Key West team have the ability and knowledge to talk to people on different levels which include our tenants residents and staff. As we are a not for profit organisation, Sean is fully understanding of how important quality and value for money is and he continues to take this into account with his service. I have no hesitation in recommending Key West to any other organisation.”
“They are very efficient in doing the jobs we have given them. I would recommend Key West as they have been very good with us. They work to a given timescale, carrying out checks on time. Properties have not had issues with pests after treatments, and tenants and landlords are happy.”
